hey i need help- finding the neutral switches for a 90 ford ranger 4cyl i found the one for the clutch peddle but cant find the other if there is one. i did a trans swap i put a 5 speed in p-lace of the automatic everything worked fine but the truck idles rough AND SOMETHING IS GROUNDING OUT THE TESTER PORT I FIGURED THE NEUTRAL SWITCH IS STILL CONNECTED OH YEAH MY SISTER IN LAW IS PRETTY EASY JUST KIDDING

 

I would remove the wires from the trans it is possible that a set does not belong where you pluged it in.[hr]And check all wires and vacuum hose's in the engine compartment.[hr]As far as the clutch safety switch disconnect that and see how it run's you may not have the wiring right.[hr]Good Luck
