do yall know where the key in ignition buzzer thing is ya know (annoying *** speaker that dings when u leave ur keys in the ignition) is located it sounds like its somewhere below the cd player and id like to disable it if possible? do yall know exactly where it is?

I took mine out. It was over the hump of the floor under the dash right at the bottom.

I dont have a camera here or I would. I just got under there and lisened for the noise. It was not had to find. When you find the NOISE (under the drivers side lower dash towards the middle) just simply unplug it.

mine was wired into a "gem" generic electronic module it was mounted to the left of the radio and when i disabled it it also disabled the dome light and the bed spot lights. im not gunna sacrifice those it doesent annoy me that mutch.

On my '96 when I disconnected it the windshield wipers quit also - that unit provides wiper ground also.

Why disable it? Just spray some WD40 in your door latch. That is your problem. It will work properly then.
