i have a 99 for ranger xlt 2.5l will the 3.0 bolt up to the 4cyl 5-speed tranny?

 

I dont know but that 2.5 might have more horsepower and tourqe than a 3.0. I have a 3.0 in my ranger and I think it is a dog. On the other hand my other ranger had the 2.3 that blew this 3.0 away.

 

really i got beat by an s10 4.3l by the cab so u might be right but that 3.0 sounds way better
i got a mystery muffler on my truck its a turbo muffler but it has a really melo smooth tone and i want the v8 like sound any tips on that ?
