I just purchased a 2000 Ranger XLT 2WD with 63,000 miles. Any words of wisdom?

Maintance, maintance, maintance. My 1990 has 264000 miles on it and runs like a top. Oil change every 4000 and repair anything that looked like it was going to break. Luckily, not muct has ever gone wrong with it. I keep a running tab of repairs on this truck, I have had it since 93 and spent just over 3600. on it. That includes tires and oil and filter. So you can see, not much has gone wrong. What engine and trans do you have?
