oil troubles...

so my 92 ranger is leaking oil like a sive but only when its running . and it appears to me it may be the rear main seal. does this sound familiar to anyone and if so how difficult of a job would it be to do myself. any imput would help, thanks.

I too have an oil leak, but not there. Mine is coming through the Valve Cover Gasket. So I will be fixing that soon.

your best bet would be to check everything all seals gaskets etc etc and dont forget to check your oil pump they tend to like to crap out on the earlier models
