power window problem

Default power window problem

I can't get my power window to go back up. what could it be ? I have a 2001 Ford Ranger.

Could be the wwitch, motor or the window is hung up on the track. Pull the door panel off and see if you can help the window up. Sometimes the lube wears off the track sliders and just needs a little lube job. Vaseline works greatfor this applicationas it doesn't set up like litheum grease does.

I have seen several different Fords with corrosion on the switch contacts. Another test is to use the passenger side switch on the drivers side and so on.
