The earlier mentioned problem turned out to be a bad master brake cylinder. One of the seals blew and was blowing brake fluid through the power brake booster into the motor. I changed the master cylinder and bled all the lines and now it's perfect. On a differentsubject,I was wondering if anybody knew where to buy new or used roll bars for the bed of my 83 ranger? I'm looking for one that will fit in the bed along with my toolbox. the toolbox doesn't go over the edge of the bed.I fabricated it so the lid of the box sits flush with inside of the bed, allowing plenty of room for a roll bar. AllI need is a place to buy one.
