Default rough idle

hello all, I have a 2002 ranger xlt, 3.0, it has started to have a rough idle, code tells me cylinder 2 and 3 are misfiring, I changed the coil pack, plug wires, and spark plugs, I also replaced the pvc elbow assembly, the old one was sunken in, it still gives me the 2 and 3 cylinder misfiring, the only thing I can think of to change is the idle air control valve, anybody have any other ideas? any help would be appreciated, thank you

I do not believe changing the idle air control will help.
There is a good possibility the engine has an intake gasket leaking vacuum.
Depending on if it is external or internal you might be able to confirm it with a spray of some carb/choke cleaner around the area of those cylinder intake ports.

I even checked the injectors on the right side for voltage, all three of them were right around 15.8-16.2, so from what I understand they should still be good, I sure hope it's not an intake leak, I will check it out, thank you

hello all again,
no, nothing has been resolved, I sprayed carb cleaner around the intake and anything that I thought would help, didn't change the idle at all, I don't know if it is a head gasket, because sometimes it hardly has a rough idle at all, and sometimes it feels like it is going to stall out, I am really stumped

hello all,
finally had a chance to take it to the shop for diagnosis, they said that my #5&6cylinder had bad valves, could be valve guides, or just bent, or not seating right, that hopefully all it needed was a head gasket, not what I wanted to hear, I just need the truck to get past smog here in California, hoping to get a new truck in the summer or fall, thank you everyone for all your help and consideration,

It could very well be a valve seat problem. The 3.0 eng did have problems with exhaust valve seats receding and head replacement was the best solution.
