just wondering if anybody knows....

serpentine belt tensioner '94 ranger 4 cyl.

bought replacement..has regular head bolt...

stock has a star shaped head..

tried star sockets can't get a good bite..tries to roll out..

Q? is there some special tool to get the stock tensioner bolt out ????????

 

If the TORX is stripped then I would use an air hammer with a nice, sharp chisel bit on it to get it loose. I have done this several times.
