i have occational trouble with the dom light in my 1995 ford ranger it will stay on even after i slam the doors. The only way i can get the light to go off is if i drive several feet, then light will go out

 

Two things come to mind:
1) Rangers door triggers are notorius for "falsing". Check your door triggers in your doors.
2) Pop off the dome cover and make sure all three screws are tight. The dome light gets its ground through one the screws.
