The local Ford dealership discovered that the shift motor on the transfer case on our 2006 Ranger is "seized up". The truck is a salvage title so they won't cover the 4 wheel drive system under warranty and they want $600 to fix this! OUCH! I found through the forums that these parts can be had for around $100 aftermarket but I cannot find any for the 2006 Ranger. All of the online stores I have found only go up to 2004 and I am leary of buying one from a junk yard in case we get another dud. Our local Auto Zone and Schucks don't carry them either. Can anyone help me find one of these? Thanks!
