Default Ford Sport Trac Stops running when hot

Hello,

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4X4. The engine stops running after a few minutes, and then won't start again until it cools off.

Also Engine light came on when the problem started.

Any ideas?

Whatever it is appears to be temperature related. It would help if you were able to get the code(s) in the PCM (powertrain control module).
Do you hear the fuel pump run for the 1-2 seconds when you try to restart it?

I definitely hear the pump when I try to start it. Not sure how to get the PCM codes that you mentioned.

I took it to the dealer for diag\repair. I will let everyone know what it turns out to be.
