Default Ford Spt Trac issue

Here is one I hope u people can help me with. I have owned this 2002 Sport Trac since new and have had a intermittent problem from the beginning. The car has 147.000 miles on it and every so often it will have no power as if its running on 2 cylinders if i'm on the road when this happens if I try to give it gas it noses down and I have to run at about 40 MPH no more the that and it dies. Here is the oddest thing if I pull over and shut down even for only a few minutes start up again it runs well ( until next time, could be 5000 miles or 100 miles. I have cleaned ALL the intake ports and changed the coil, had the cat tested the fuel pump checked, all the obvious suspects. I don't get a "check engine light" no error codes appear, can't figure it out. HELP

You have a computer issue, this will happen and drive you crazy. Mine does it every once in a while and all that is needed is a restart. Cut the truck off let it sit for a moment and it should reset it's self. If not might be time for a new brain. Good luck!
