Ford has discontinued supplying the rear brake backer plates for the 2003-2005 Sport Trac and none can be found in the nationwide inventory. Does anyone know where I can locate a pair? Front plates appear to be available but not the rear. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Why do they need replacing?

 

My mechanic pointed out that the backer plates are rusted, corroded or missing. Can't find a replacement source and junk yards don't bother to save them.
