i have this issue every two years. some loose wire in the brake interlock system. brake lites dont go on when you step on the brake. mechanic takes two mintues to fix charges fifty bucks. doing it again. any one have any experience on this. i think its a wire near the brake pedal.

 

Ford had a problem with the connector to the switch. The wiring will come loose and cause the problem. Look at the connector carefully to see if the locking tabs are broken. If so, you can buy the connector end and replace it.
