Help! 2003 Taurus wagon was running OK. I parked it for a few minutes and on restart it did something (backfire???) to cause smoke to come out from under the hood. After that it was VERY hard to start and it would stall unless I kept the RPMs up when stopping. I barely made it home and when I pulled the codes it had a 1131, 1151, 0136 and 0156. I talked to a local parts place and they recommended I start with the MAF sensor. and move on to the O2 sensors, etc. Like alot of people I can't afford to keep swapping parts. Can any of these sensors cause the engine to barely run at all. I have seen posts with a rough idle or a miss but this car seems really sick right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

detailed the one out here, really nice carthe new shape one that is out here is RHD, from europe.insde is alot nicer. leather buckets, leather dash. but i love how they look real nice car. id go with SK. if it was 4wd would be a sweeter car
