I just bought a 2004 Taurus SES and the AC compressor is frozen. What parts should I replace to get the system working again? Where can i find a good manual.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

If the compressor is locked up and not the clutch, you need a compressor, accumulator, orifice tube. That is the minimum you will need. If you do not hyave the proper tools to evacuate and recharge the system, see if a local shop will evacuate first and recharge after the repairs are completed.
