2010 Ford Taurus SHO
Hello everyone,
I am about to replace my brakes (discs/pads). The original brakes (OME) are horrible and I am looking into getting better equipment (bear, EBC, Hawk etc). Any recommendations what brakes I could use. I have the 19 inch wheels ( none performance package).
Thanks
JS

When driving at higher speeds and braking hard the brakes are fading very quickly and loosing grip. According to Ford they are still fine. These brakes are not sufficient for a +4000 # car and no match to European cars. So I am hoping to find some better brakes. Thanks for reply
You could probably find pads with a higher friction material. Generally, they don't last as long as the OEM recommended type.
Would be a good move to get another check/opinion to make sure everything is working as it should before considering changing anything.
Always better to confirm proper operation, before possibly masking a problem with different parts.
