I bought this car in November of 2021 and someone recently hit my parked car and broke my driver side headlamp. That happened in April and its almost august, every shop has told me they’re on backorder with no ETA. Im here wondering if I could get any random headlamps from a Taurus close in age to mine and just hook them?

 

You could probably get the entire headlamp assy from a salvage yard at a fraction of the price of new.
Worth checking.

 

man I tried but a lot of salvage yards are hoarding the police interceptor ones for actual law enforcements since theres such a back order. I just wanted to know if I can take a whole assembly off any random taurus and put it on mine

 

Keep trying, you will eventually hit a yard that will help you.
