I have had a problem with my car starting. What happens is it runs for about 3 to 8 seconds then dies. I've check the charging system and everything there seems to be okay so I replaced the fuel filter, but still have the same problem. Can anyone tell me where to go from here. Is there any sensors I should check before going after the fuel pump? Any help is much appreciated.

 

sounds like a bad ignition component. maybe a distrubutor issue.
