charging system....

Check charging system light came on while driving home. Took it to get tested and they told me that the battery and alternator were good. Is there anything else that causes the light to come on?

Did they tell you what the output/rate of charge was?

could be a faulty connection on the wires from batt to alt loose or cracked this is common

From:

Look at the little connection on the alternator. If the wires are a little loose, the light will come on.

myself had that problem on my 2005 explorer used contact cleaner disconected the wires wash them with contact cleaner has been couple month with the light never coming back on Good luckk
