check engine lite on...
check engine lite is on. mechanic says code is catallytic converter no operating efficiently and it needs a new rear cat. any way to deal with this other than cut it out and replace. help im broke

[sm=welcomesign.gif]Cut it out and put a straight pipe in and when you get the money just replace it.
