hay everyone looking for some general information and ideas have a 93 Taurus with a 3.8
that's acting up
working with a code scanner and not exactly sure if I am extracting the correct code
542 comes up (control assembly to motor ground) ? any help or ideas

to explain after the vehicle is run for about30minutes it will stop running
but will start back up

one time it stopped running and would not start-up without taking back like it was out of time
or had water in the distributor cap but after sitting 30minutes or so it started and ran find

any suggestions I would appreciate them gary.
