I have a 96 Taurus, and recently the door ajar light came on, even though all doors are tightly shut and locked. I had pull out the dome light and have the disconnect the battery each time I leave the car. Have been advised that it may be a faulty door sensor. Does some one know how to fix this? Were is this sensor located? Please help

 

Get a can of penetrating oil. Spray it inside the latch on the door. Spray it liberally. Open and close each door a few times to see which one turns the light off. It may be easier if you put dome light bulb back in. Let us know.
