Can anyone tell me where the fuel pressure regulator is on a 2002 Mercury Sable with the 24v DOHC motor? I've tried searching but am getting very mixed results.

 

Follow the fuel rail around to where the fuel line enters the fuel rail. You should see a shrader valve. The pressure regulator is bolted to the fuel rail at that point.

Basically, the fuel feed line is connected to the pressure regulator with a "Quick Disconnect" fitting and the shrader valve is right after it.

Basically, you're looking for what closely resembles the included pic.
