i have a 99 taurus that has the 3.0, no heat, but the car does not overheat or leak. temp is ok, i get a VERY LITTLe warm air but no heat. i am guessing its the heater core, but the hoses in and out of the core seem hot??? before i rip the dash out i wanted to check with everyone to seeif im overlooking something...
