I have no brake lights when I push the brake pedal down. I swappedout the switch with a new one and nothing happened. Ialso can't seem to pull the shifter from Park to neutral after I start the car. Yes I can bypass the interlock, but w/o brake lights I can't drive the car anyway. Any help out there where I can maybe fix this on my own?

 

By any chance, have you checked the fuse to the brake lights?

 

I have chacked every fusr the car has and none of them are popped.

 

Including the fuses under the hood?

 

put the car in accessory, put emergenecy brake on. it willstart. there is this small part in the brake lite assem that is doing this.im not sure the nubmer
