Angry Not Enough Heat in Taurus

2001 Ford Taurus 3.0 l V6- 50,000 miles
Almost no heat. Changed thermostat, no change. Had radiator and heater core flushed out and new long life antifreeze installed. Heat still just warm. After about 10 minutes running in weather conditions around 30 degrees I get a small amount of heat but not like I had in previous years. Temperature control blows cold when on blue setting and when turned to max I get this warm air flow. Other dial works switching air from defrost to floor to upper as dial is turned and I can hear door opening/closing when I move this dial. Blower puts out loads of air but again just warm, not hot. No overheating as guage rises to half way point and stays there. Anyone have similar problems before and how were they solved?

Check the blend door actuator. It is located under the center of the dash. See if you can work the door by hand and get any heat. If you can, replace the actuator.
