Default rainwater leaks in

2000 Taurus LX. I don't see any obvious problem as to why rainwater leaks on to the floor of the passenger side. What should I be looking at or for to fix this problem? Duct tape is working for the time being. Looks pretty tacky, but better than wet feet.

I too am having the exact same problem. I don't hear any door wind noise, but I'm getting a ton of water on the floor. Where exactly are you duck taping this at? I have a 2000 Taurus SE with the 24V DOHC engine. This water problem is happening all the time and I want to fix it.

My husband duct taped from the plastic cowling (might not be the proper word)up onto the windshield. Just a temporary fix but it worked. Eventually the sun dried the tape up. We still haven't got a proper fix for it yet. When the dealer fixed it the first time it lasted for only about 2-3 years. If you use duct tape, I would suggest using whatever color that plastic piece is. Blends in better than the grey we used.

ford makes a kit to fix the problems you both are describing, it comes with a new seal and some sealer , your best bet would be to take it to a dealer and and have them install it, shouldnt cost much
