Default Signal Light Problem

Hi All,

MY 00 taurus just developed a weird problem with the signal lights, when you put the right side on, they blink much faster then normal, and now the rear blinker doesnt seem to be working(i would assume just the bulb).

Has anyone had a similar problem?

If so, let me know. Thanks, Steve

Yup! Put a new bulb in it. It would be a 3157 bulb.

Yeah, is that what would cause the signal light itself to blink much faster then normal?

Yes, when a bulb goes out it will cause the flasher to bolink faster, Basically do to change in the impedence of the circuit changed from the blown bulb.
