sometimes when you start my taurus you turn the key and nothing, not a sound just dead, then after you turn the key a few times its ok and starts, sometimes you turn the key and you get a click from the starter just a clik, sometimes it starts to turn over but dont. 97 out of 100 times its fine. help i have replaced the neutral switch, battery cables, starter. im lost and i just want to cry. help. help

Is this a 3.0 4V or SHO? If so, did you check the starter relay.. Be sure to check for good connection/grounds, and here's the starting system schematics to help in pin point tests andlook for circuit drop outs..

regular siz clylender taurus mechanic says he checked starter relay.

turned out to be a bad battery, bad shorted internalls...
