I know you don't want to read this, but if you purchased a crank sensor from other than Ford , there is a good possibility it may have come from the land of rice and chow mien and their parts are cheap and not dependable!
You can also try unplugging different sensors and plugging them back in, sometimes a poor connection shows itself as an intermittent problem.
