Default Taurus Dying Out

I have a 2003 Ford Taurus SES. It has 110000 miles.
Sometime while I am driving, slowing down to stop,
the motor will stop. I put it in netural, and it starts
back up. While I am sttting parked and in park the speed-
ometer will go between 0 and up to 40 MPH.Then
the motor will die. I have to put it in netural to get it
started. But it always start back up. I had it to a ford
dealership, and they said it did not show up on there
analizer,so they could not help me. Any help on this
problem would be appreciated. Thank You

I am going to ask some seemingly dumb questions, but one may help .
Are the battery cable connections clean and in good condition?
Has the windshield ever been replaced?
What kind of maintenance has been done to the vehicle?
How mechanically inclined are you?
If we suggested some checks to be done in the engine compartment would you care to do them?

The battery cables are in good shape.
The windshield has never been replaced.
I purchased new,and have always done good maintenance.
Now for the big problem. I don't know the diffrence between
a monkey, and a monkey wrench.
But I believe I could find someone to do the checks in
the engine compartment.
so give me the list, and I will get started.
I do appreciate your help.

Let's start with cleaning the throttle body and butterfly inside the throttle body, OK?

Does it stall when the engine is only hot or cold too?
Have the plugs and fuel filter been replaced , if so when?
Sometimes a poor ground or an intermittent connection can give these symptoms.
There are many reasons for an engine to stall and since it is intermittent, we will need to do a lot of checking and many times we unknowingly correct it simply by unplugging a component and reconnecting it.
