I've got a 05 Ford Taurus SE Flex and the thing cranks but it will not start. It was cranking and starting sometimes but now it just cranks. The battery is good, fuel pump is not kicking on but I'm not sure if there is a spark or not because I don't know how to check it. A guy loaned me code reader and it comes up five codes, two pending is what it says. P1235 , p0191 (fuel rail pressure sensor ckt range performance,) p0606 (PCM processor fault )0191.

 

The fuel pressure is ran by vacuum. The vacuum hose is probably cracked. While you're checking it look at the other vacuum hoses. The engine heat will eventually make them fail. I use fuel line for PCV and brake booster. Also look at the plastic Ts Ls and straight couplers, they get brittle and crack. You can get them at the parts store
