Default Trying to Diagnose Fuel not pumping 00 sable

I am kinda loosing it trying to figure out why this car will not pump fuel. The fuel pump relay is good and functioning along with the fuse. I have got current at the inertia switch. My service manual says that the power wire goes to the inertia switch then to the pump and gauge which is a pink and black wire. No current at the pink and black wire at the connector so I ran a jumper from the inertia switch to the black and pink wire at the wiring plug. Now the gauge seems to work (idk remember if it did or not before) but still no fuel pumping and when I disconnect the fuel inertia switch the gauge still doesn't change, so now I am doubting that the single wire supplies power to bothe the pump and gauge. I am really pretty clueless. Because I figured if the gauge works and the pump and gauge share the same ground then it would mean the pump and gauge have a good ground and points to be a bad pump, but after unplugging the inertia switch I see it the gauge still works so I have no idea. Any help would be much appreciated. I also jumped a wire bypassing the inertia switch still no good.
