why my power stering fluid, bubles up and overspills after i turn the car off?

I did removed the hoses and conections to the power stering pump in order to replace my ac compressor, is this maybe air in the system, how do I take care of it.

Air is trapped in the system. Fill the reservoir up and leave the car run with the cap off. After most of the air is out, you may have to drive it around with the cap back on to get it all out. If it is verry stubborn, then get a vacuum pump.
