Default Need help with my 92 Tempo.

#1. I'm trying to remove the dash but I can't get the gauge cluster out. There is a sensor in the center that I can't unhook. What do I need to do? I'm also having issues removing the entire headlight **** so I can take the dash out.

#2. I'm trying to install a piece together air intake kit from AutoZone. What filter's are people using and what do you do with the sensors that connect to the stock air box?

#3. If I unhook the emergency levers for the automatic seatbelts in the center, will I get a warning chime? My seatbelts don't work so I want to remove the levers.

#4. My gauge lights don't work, is this an easy fix or should i just run a separate switch and lights for it instead?

#5. I'm installing new seat covers, how do you remove the headrest?

Thanks I just got this car and want to make it enjoyable!

I can answer a couple but, not all.
#1) The "sensor" is probably not a sensor but, the speedo cable. It should have "pinch clips" on the sides or a cap that unscrews. As far as the headlight ****, reach under the dash, there should be a push button on the switch itself that will allow you to remove the ****. Then there will be a flat round nut with a couple notches or, a hex shaped nut to remove to get the switch off the panel.
#4) First check for a burned out fuse. If that is good, you are taking the dash cluster out anyway (refer to #1), replace all the bulbs.
#5) There should be a release button under the headrest at the seat top. Otherwise, it will pull out with a bit of force.
Hope these suggestions help.

You might want to remove the battery negative cable before removing the headlite switch stick because the headlghts will remain on all the while the stick is in the out position.Just a suggestion.
