I am having power problems. The car will run for a short while and drive but then it starts losing power and then quits, then later it will start but you have to hold gas pedal to floor to start unless cold. HELP???????

 

Check these : catalytic converter clogged or partially, fuel filter dirty, air filter dirty, speed sensor shot or miscalibrated. Covering the basic checks like oil, trans. fluid and water always helps too. Is the engine high miles?
