1994 T-bird 4.6L no-start
Greetings, folks. Working on a '94 'bird with the 4.6. She won't start, but turns over nicely. Was just running, so problem just started. Was in an accident last Friday, but only minor & low-speed. Belt squeals, but that's a common problem. Seems to be getting fuel and spark. Very high miles.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Don

Any check engine light?
Could you please tell me what, "seems to be getting fuel" means?
What is important to know is fuel pressure and can you hear the fuel pump run when you first turn the key on?
I always ask, did you check all the fuses?
Anything that could have been dislodged by the sudden jolt , like the "inertia switch"?
Might be a good idea to make sure it is in the right position.

T-bird response
Thanks for the reply. The car is about an hour from me, and I'm trying to narrow it down over the phone. After the minor hit last week, it started up fine, so I ruled out the inertia switch. And the driver says the fuel pump is running. No idea on pressure though. And it's had a service engine light for some time, a common thing I see on cars these days. I'll have him check all the fuses again. I was hoping someone had seen similar symptoms and might have an idea I may have missed.
Appreciate the help.

If possible , would be a good idea to get the code(s) for why the check engine light is on.
It should at least direct you to the system that may be causing the problem. Let us know here, we should be able to assist you. Many auto stores will get the code(s) for you at no charge. Autozone is one of them.
