Default 88 tbird wont start

to adam : i had this problem with my 88 3.8l lx as well. the problem was the ignition.i had to change the ignition and also the ignition switch under the dash near the fuse control panel. check with ford because there was arecall on this.mine wasnt covered but yours may be,otherwise dont worry,its an easy fix. it only cost me about 40$ for both parts and about 2 hours of labelling ,rewiring ,and soldering.now lights and gauges that did not work when i first bought the car are working great!
