Ford Thunderbird Starting in the 1950s, this was a classic American sports cars, from the compact original of the 1950s, to the muscular hard top coupes of the 1980s and 1990s to the retro look of the 2003 model year, this car is, and always will be, an American classic.

Default I have a Tbird >>>>>>>>>>>

I have a 1988 5.0 V8, with auto tranny. She handles great for having 198,000 miles on her. Turns corners no prob. No body roll. Does a burnout like nobodies business. She is fully loaded- power windows/locks/steering/auto climate control/digi dash/power seats/mirrors. I do have a question though. What modifications should i do first? Intake, exhaust, bigger fuel injectors? Does my car have a computer that can be programmed or a chip that can be replaced? Sorry about the newbie questions, but this is the newest ford i have owned and dont know too much about it. I did have a 1964 tbird, but after spending 8000 dollars on a laquer paintjob, and interior work, she was stolen and stripped. Everything was gone

As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best sites ever created. Read the tech articles and the forum, there is a ton of info there.
