Default motor swap

my sister recently totaled out her 98 windstar and has a 3.8L engine in it..i have a 93 thunderbird with the 3.8 that has way over 200k on it..i was wondering if the motor from the windstar would have the same bellhousing shape and motor mounts...also does anyone know what else i would have to do to make this motor work in my car?

The computer would work. But you would have to change the intake and exhaust manifolds to have the sensors and setup that work with your computer. The engine mounts are likely also different so you'd have to swap on yours (provided they bolt on the same to the block). The number of bolts and spacing from each other from theMAIN block to the trans. bellhousing (not starter or block plate bolts, etc.) will tell you if the fit is the same. Either that or find someone (perhaps at a local salvage yard) who has a Hollander interchange manual (expensive book to have) for those years.
