Default ‘13 Fusion water leak passenger floor board

We have water leaking into the front passenger floor board when it rains. We have confirmed it’s not heater core or AC. We took half the car apart yesterday and couldn’t find a wet spot anywhere. At a loss for where else to look. The padding is wet under the glove box but not up to the top. Looks to be coming from the bottom somewhere. I’ve searched all the forums and most people have an ac leak. This is happening when it rains only. 3 times in the last 3 weeks. It’s a lot of water too. We have the passanger seat and front carpet out to dry. Where else can we look?!?

Sometimes we use talcum powder spread over an area to provide a point of water entry. Don't overlook the possibility of water getting in from the pass side door weatherstripping. If the area is dry and the powder is spread, drive the vehicle in the rain or use a hose to run water over the hood and firewall area. You might just hit it the first time you try. A second person inside observing is usually very helpful while driving and safer also !

We see the water coming in now. Somewhere behind the dash. Doesn’t seem to be the windshield. We are taking the dash apart today. Hope we can find it.

If you would, please consider sharing what you found with the folks here even if it helps only one person, thanks.

Default We found the leak!

After a month of searching (on the weekends) we have found the leak. The back corner behind the drain under the wiper motor was the issue. Looks like some of the foam sealant has smashed down. My husband resealed the area and no more leak!
