02 windstar dlc

Default 02 windstar dlc

Cig lighter and dlc both have no power is this common . #17 fuse in cabin is intact so im thinking a cut some where in wiring .. Have cel and get error on obd2 reader cause no power at DLC ..

Did you check fuse with a test light or a voltmeter? Or did you try a new fuse? I have seen fuses blow just below the top where the fuse reads good on both sides.

I did try another fuse and nothing happend . Going to check if theres power at the fuse bank itself tommorow .

Just out of curiosity, did do you have the ignition switch on the "RUN" position? I believe there is only power to these in the "RUN" position.

i know for the dlc needs to be in RUN position but think it is hot for the cig lighter

Im getting power at the fuse bank so there must be a splice somewhere after the fact .time to go fishing i guess !

Thanks ! i havent been able to find a manual for the van yet either

Found a coolent leak pooling on top the front valve cover area around the injectors looks like its comming from under the intake is this a common thing
