Who has replaced Timing cover gasket without removing engine?

It’s doable.
Close quarters, the cover studs need to removed to be able to lift the cover clear..

Hayapower thanks man I figured as much--I took one look and though the same. I've got a coolant contamination issue after having just installing this engine and I'm trying to rule out a bad engine. I'm going to make a plate out of some plate stock with a stencil of the water pump gasket a pressure valve will be installed and through it pressure applied to find the leak in the block.
