1994 Ford F-150 5.0 V8 Help Gets Fuel No Fire Help Please
1994 Ford F-150 5.0 V8 Help Gets Fuel No Fire Help Please. The truck will start n run when it wants too. I already cleaned all the connections, put a new coil on, cleaned the lock cylinder and the switch. Sometimes I can go out and it will start up n then other times no fire. No matter what I do it will not fire then other times it will. I'm lost on it and just can't seem to find the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the site..
You state it’s getting fuel, but no fire. That certainly sounds like it’s just not starting, but it has/ has no spark at the times it doesn’t start ?
You mentioned changing the coil, was/is a good hot spark there while cranking, or none? Was voltage present at the coil during cranking?
Ignition modules, pickup coils etc were cause for no spark, intermittents as well. Generally a switch isn’t intermittent, but would show up at the coil if dropping out. Ignition module can be tested prior to replacement..
The more info you can provide, helps in a direction to go.
