Default 2004 f150 fx4 5.4l

My 04 has had the check engine light on since I bought it local mech said it was anything serious when he ran the codes recent got stationed in Texas truck drove fine down here and ran great! But now its running poor, checked the codes again and got (P2004, P2195, P2197, P0171, P0174) says that the 02 sensor is stuck lean both bank 1 and 2 "sensor 1", system running too lean in bank 1 and 2 and that the IMRC is stuck open in bank 1. Not sure how long the codes have been there, but it is now starting to die while idling both in drive and in park! Cleaned the carb and replaced fuel filter made no difference! If anyone has any ideas or help that I may possibly fix this at home instead of spending an arm and a leg at the dealership it would be much obliged!

It is possible the IMRC is the culprit causing all the codes. If it is stuck open, it will allow too much air to enter the engine and cause lean conditions.

Will I have to replace the IMRC or is there a way to go around that?

I also read from other posts on hear dealing with the same thing and they used seafoam and it supposedly worked I'm sure that it is prolly the IMRC which needs to be replaced but will try the seafoam today to see if it does the trick!

Always try the easiest first. It is possible that the linkage is just stuck also.

Tryed the seafoam didn't make a difference, are you talking about the linkage on the IMRC itself? I'll try and take a look at it today and see what I can find out thanks for the help so far!
