2008 E250 throttle studder??
I have a Studder / skipping while on throttle. The van has high miles with 210k, 5.4 triton motor. There is no check engine light to scan? The first thing I was going to try is new coils and spark plugs. What do ya'll think?? I'm was going to post this on F250 section as well. Thank you!
The miles are up there and if you don't know the maintenance history, coils, the rubber boots and the plugs that plug on to the coils would be a good place to start LOOKING.
Is there any way you could have the PCM checked for any codes that might provide some direction?
We try to check as much as possible before spending any $$ where it might be more useful if put in the better place.
Spark plugs are always a good investment..
