2010 fusion a/c hub

Default 2010 fusion a/c hub

the hub on the a/c compressor separated , didnt really see any other problems so i just replaced the hub. the ac works and has no noises but the new hub is starting to separate also ? any ideas , thanks

When you install a new clutch hub assy there is a certain gap specification it must be set to. That said, the other possibility is the nut is special and has a tightening spec. Where do we stand with these?

I USED THE SPACERS FROM THE OLD HUB, the

gap is .030 , also the bolt on the front i cant get a torque on it due to space

Sometimes you need to remove the fender liner to get to it , or , unsecure the compressor so you can get a socket and torque wrench on it.
There is a clutch hub tool to hold the hub while you tighten it to the correct spec, you might want to look into that
