Default 2011 AC/Heater fan not working

AC/heater blower will not run on any settings, 2011 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0 liter.

First a little history. Had trouble in years past and able to fix by replacing blower resistor unit. After replacing the resistor unit 2 times I replaced the wiring harness and added a new very secure ground. Also replaced the fan. That seemed to help but still went through another resistor unit. Each time the resistor unit would work for about a year before breaking. Thank goodness I have lifetime warranty, as each time I get a new one free. After fixing the fourth time, my wife never puts the blower on full high. That worked for about 2 years.. Now broken again.

This time I am stumped as to how fix.

Removed blower and used jumpers to test against the battery. Only momentary, but fan did run when 12v applied.

Next I checked voltages at the resistor pig tail. Got 12V between A and C. Also got various mv readings between A and B depending upon fan speed settings on console.

Looking at the new resistor unit, I can read various ohm readings between all terminals.

So.. Everything seems to check out.. But fan does not run.

Does anyone have the correct ohm reading for the resistor unit? Although it is new, it may be bad.

What you might consider,
Have someone check the current draw of the blower motor. .How many amps ?

I have some reservations regarding the resistors themselves. Cheap, no loss to keep replacing except your time and effort..
You might try purchasing the next one from Ford.
Make sure all the connections are clean and tight, especially where the wire terminals slip on to spade terminals.
Constant use of slower than full blower speeds may be a contributing factor, but not a very common problem.

Thanks for the reply. I got it fixed. Was a wiring issue when replacing the pigtail It would pass some current and make me think it was valid. Would not pass the amps required for running the fan. Issue here is the fan draws a lot of amps and Ford tries to use the smallest wire / connectors to save costs. May be a good excuse to get an amp meter... always wanted one.

Just got to keep it going for one more year, then will get another vehicle. This one is plagued by electrical issues. Rear flashers would overheat and melt their sockets. So replaced the sockets and put in LED's. Now I got hyper flash as the car does not recognize the lower draw and thinks the light is burned up. Told wife.. well you got the fastest flashers in town.. ( yeah I know I could but in a resistor and fix it.. but not going to waste the time ).

Mechanically it is a good car,.. but i pay way too much for such non-sense. Going with something else next.
